August 2011: Teeth!

A few weeks after Sailor and I returned from Washington, Glen was supposed to leave for Utah for Nate's (his brother's) wedding. About a week before he was supposed to leave, his dad offered to fly Sailor and me out as well! We were so excited. We had a lot of fun there (although we discovered that Sailor may have a pet allergy like her mom), and were able to see lots of friends and family. Glen's family couldn't believe how much Sailor had changed just in the short month and half since they had seen her last.

Sailor Stats

• Sailor's first two teeth arrived this month (her bottom two)! Just when I thought she couldn't get any cuter...
• Sailor learned to clap this month!
• Despite my best efforts with the book Baby Wise and other sleep-training techniques, Sailor still wasn't sleeping all the way through the night. Who would have though that eight plus months of not sleeping through the night is so exhausting!
