This month:

• Sailor is starting to know all of the main colors, but not consistently.
• Sailor loves to fist bump ("poun it").
• Sailor can count to ten, but usually misses one of the numbers.
• Sailor can identify stars, triangles, circles and squares.
• Sailor loves trucks and every time we pass while driving she shouts, "'gain, 'gain!"
• Fire truck = "fiachuck"
• Sailor loves the park and, specifically, the swings. Every time we get in the car she thinks we're going to the park and shouts, "Shing! Shing!"
• Be careful! = "Be fefow" whenever she's doing something that she thinks might merit it.
• "Oh gosh", "oh gooness" and "oh snap!"
• Everything that Sailor doesn't want to do is "scawwy" (scary).
• Diapers = "bapers"
• On the 16th of this month, Sailor lasted the whole two hours in nursery without either Glen or I.
• Sailor asks "Whas that?" about everything (while pointing) and then says "Yeah!" afterward, as if she is just testing us.
• Sailor discovered gum this month and does really well with it. She is obsessed!
• Sailor has learned to love trains and can hear one from miles away. Whenever she hears something that sounds like a train, she says, "See it?"

We got home from running errands and, when Sailor saw the sprinkler on in the neighbor's yard, she bolted over and played in it.
